The Jamorama guitar series is intended for people new to the guitar who want a quick way to get started.  The creator of this program, Ben Edwards, is college educated and has a degree in music education.  He’s also an accomplished musician, having toured with the Australian band Degrees K.  So is the Jamorama acoustic guitar program for you?  Here’s a review of the features included in this program.

With the Jamorama program, you’ll receive 12 months worth of guitar lessons.  These lessons are given to you through video and text, as the program is downloadable.  You can work entirely at your own pace – a chapter a day or a chapter a week.  The lessons are also spread out over 44 chapters (252 pages), and cover all different types of musical genres, so you can use this program for any type of guitar you want to learn to play.

Ben shows you in this course in a very simple, understandable way how to play the guitar.  Because of the solid technique and professional-quality tools and software included in the course, it is the simplest way to learn guitar by using an online program.  In essence, you’ll save thousands of dollars on private guitar lessons and be able to teach yourself at your own pace, using this program.

If you visit the Jamorama site, you’ll actually be able to take a free 6 part guitar course to get an idea of what exactly you’ll find if you order the full product.

The bottom line review of Jamorama acoustic and electric guitar programs is that they are solid, easy ways to get started learning to play guitar, especially if you don’t want to spend money on private lessons or just want to be able to work at your own pace within the comfort of your own home.  If you prefer having live, one-on-one instruction, private lessons may be best for you.  If you prefer working on your own, Jamorama is the way to go.

With the right instruction, you can easily teach yourself guitar even if you have no experience whatsoever. You don?t even have to leave your home; these days, learning guitar can be done entirely online. I have been enjoying guitar lessons on Comcast and I have purchased an Alfred Music DVD Teach Yourself to Play Guitar. I was thinking of subscribing to Guitar Player Magazine on line because they have guitar lessons. I think the subscription is free. Are there any other freebies out there?
