Let go of the chord with your left hand but leave your fingers resting on the strings, and strum.

If you’re on an acoustic, you can also palm mute with your right hand at the same time, not at the bridge but a little closer to the sound hole. It’ll sound better.

tomthebomb5725 @ 12:21 am

no he doesn’t

damaband41 @ 12:52 am

Did anyone else first think between 0:18-0:20 that he had a British accent?

101stAirborneDiv @ 1:36 am

yea i think so

scj16 @ 2:17 am

nah. he’s got the sugar ray thing going too.

ShavoO94 @ 3:00 am

nice man you look like billy ray cyrus

St4rforce @ 3:58 am

Well, I rather play it the right way. So STFU.

kagood25 @ 4:22 am

nice one dude………..scouse

tarzael @ 5:09 am

I really like the lesson, it’s good and clear.
How do you make the “click” sound ?
Is it like palm muting or muting with the left hand?

king7wood @ 6:05 am

Good teacher…

comptomcoon @ 6:46 am

(1st time Am, F, Dm, G 2nd time Am, F, G) – [Am] 002210 (Try the [F] chord X33210) [Dm] XX0231, Then [G] 320033. The 2nd time “Mr. Jone strikes up a conversation, with a black haired…” just [Am], [F] then [G]. no [Dm] Good rythm though on this video!
